Dude… Talk About a F*cked Up Night…

Published by randomrhonda at 11:37 pm under friends Edit This

Tonight I had a class that got out early.  I called my boyfriend to tell him that I was home early, and he informed me that he was out riding around in the woods with his best friend.  A while later, he called to tell me that they were on their way home, about 10 minutes away.  As we were on the phone, a police car pulled them over, so he ended the call.

Nearly an hour later, they still hadn’t returned, and I was really starting to worry.  I sent him a text message but got no reply.  So I worried even more.  After another 20 minutes I tried to call him, but it went straight to his voicemail.

By this time, I was madly pacing the house.  I decided to call the jail and see if they had been taken in for one reason or another, but they weren’t there.  I resumed my pacing.

Another half hour or so passed, and my phone rang.  They were finally actually on their way home.

They had gotten pulled over for having a headlight out.  There had been reports of thefts from cabins in the area, and appearantly riding around out in the woods on a beautiful day just for the fun of it made them look suspicious.  The officers must not have liked the answers they got to their questions, because the next thing the boys knew, they were standing on the side of the road and watching the vehicle get a very thorough search.

Long story short, I spent almost 2 hours in a rapidly accelerating state of panic because a couple of police officers didn’t believe the truth.  F*cked up sh*t, dude.  Seriously.
