Spring Cleaning
It’s that time of year again! The temperatures are on the rise, trees are budding, flowers are blooming, and I need to get all of this excess crap out of my house!
My friend Stacy actually just wrote a couple of great posts about spring cleaning; one about cleaning out your makeup bag and another about cleaning out your closet. They are both chock-full of great tips and info! I especially like her idea for keeping track of which clothes you actually wear, and plan to impement it in my own closet; it will make things so much easier next time I sort my clothing for yard sale and donation items!
Speaking of yard sales, I need to have one soon! I moved last year and came to realize exactly what an absorbanent amount of crap I managed to accumulate in the eight years I lived in my last place. When we first moved, I took only the essentials and left most of my other stuff across town at the old house, so I could sort it into keep, sell, and toss piles. Meanwhile, I realized that I enjoyed not having so much crap around all the time and decided that it was time to simplify my life. And so it is that I will be selling a majority of my posessions soon.
Now THAT’S spring cleaning!
